Homicide investigation underway in Caruthersville

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - A homicide investigation is underway in Caruthersville, Missouri after a man was found dead inside of a home Sunday, August 16.

According to the Caruthersville Police Chief, Tony Jones, Larry McIntyre Jr., of Caruthersville, was found dead on the living room floor at a home located at 305 Grand Avenue around 8:24 a.m.

Officers said McIntyre Jr. had gunshot wounds and injuries which appeared to be from a possible assault.

Police are searching for at least one suspect.
