SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (KFVS) - Governor JB Pritzker will visit the Adams County and Rock Island Health Departments on Monday to discuss the COVID-19 response.
He was in Quincy, Ill. at 10:30 a.m.
He will also be in Rock Island, Ill. at 1:30 p.m.
On Monday, July 27, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,231 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, including 18 additional deaths.
This brings the total cases of COVID-19 in the state to 172,655 and 7,416 deaths.
As of Sunday night, the health department said 1,417 people in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 350 patients were in the ICU and 124 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
Currently, 2,542,134 people in Illinois have been tested for the virus.
