SEMO Women’s basketball beat UT Martin

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The SEMO Women’s Basketball team defeated UT Martin 67- 47 Saturday, in the OVC Tournament Championship game in Evansville Indiana.
The Redhawks came out at grabed an early lead in the game and did not let go the whole way.
Tesia Thompson was the leading scorer for the Redhawks.
With the win, the Redhawks clinch a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
This is the team’s first trip to the NCAA Tourney since 2007.
