CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) -Three Rivers Basketball coach Gene Bess is two wins shy of the 1300 mark.
Bess will go for his 1299th win Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. at home against Arkansas Baptist.
If he wins Thursday, Bess could hit the milestone Saturday at home at 7:00 p.m. against West Kentucky.
Bess is in his 50th season at Three Rivers and is the winningest coach in college basketball history.
