(KFVS) - Storms on Saturday, Jan. 12 and Sunday, Jan. 13 caused power outages across the Heartland.

The majority of outages were quickly fixed.

Missouri

  • Association of Missouri electric cooperatives reported 140 residences without power in Wayne County, Mo.
  • Ameren Missouri reported around 60 customers without power in Cape Girardeau County, Mo.

Kentucky

  • Power companies are reported 742 customers without power in Wayne County, Ky.

Tennessee

According to Gibson Electric, over 300 customers were without power in Obion County. A

spokesperson for Gibson Electric said that they’re reports of broken poles and repairs could take time.
