(KFVS) - Cloudy skies and cold temperatures have been with us for most of the day.
Chief Meteorologist Grant Dade said they are watching the clearing line across our western counties slowly move east across the Heartland.
Many areas west of the Mississippi River will see clear skies before sunset with everyone clearing later this evening.
Temperatures will remain chilly this evening with lows by morning in the middle to upper 20s.
Tuesday will be partly sunny and slightly warmer. Highs will reach the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
Slightly warmer weather will move into the area later this week.
