First Alert: Temperatures to cool down this evening

First Alert Weather 10 p.m. 11/14/19

(KFVS) - It’s not going to be a heat-wave, but the Heartland is slowly warming-up.

Chief Meteorologist Grant Dade says a few clouds are streaming across the Heartland this afternoon. Even with the clouds, temperatures are running a few degrees warmer than expected.

Slightly warmer than expected, I'll take it!

Temperatures this evening will start to cool down once the cloud cover moves out. Lows by morning will be in the lower to middle 20s.

Friday will be sunny and cold.

Highs will only reach the lower to middle 40s.

For those heading out to watch a game on Heartland Football Friday, temperatures will be around freezing at kickoff and fall into the 20s during the games.
