(KFVS) - Here is a list of Veterans Day events that have been canceled or affect by anticipated weather.

Cape Girardeau, Mo.

The Avenue of Flags in Cape Girardeau will not be on display this Veterans Day due to the expected weather on Nov. 11.

According to organizer David Cantrell, the decision was based on the projected temperatures, freezing rain and high winds, which could damage the over 700 flags and poles.

The risk is too high to keep the flags out on display.

The Avenue of Flags will next be put on display on Memorial Day 2020.

The Joint Veterans Council is cancelling the Veterans Day program that would have been held at Freedom Corner, in Capaha park.

Anna, Ill.

Carol Foster with VFW Post 3455 said the event has been canceled for Veterans Day.

Jackson, MO.
