Poplar Bluff, Mo. escapee back in custody, was found hiding under deck

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - A man who escaped police custody was captured as of Saturday, September 28, according to Poplar Bluff police.
Colton Howell was taken into custody after police received help from the public. He was found hiding under a deck by the Jr. High School.
Detective Dan Mustain with Poplar Bluff police said the man is charged with escape from confinement.
The person who called in the tip will receive a reward.
Howell had escaped from a police car on Wednesday morning, Sept. 18.
He had been originally taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
He is being housed at the Butler County Jail.
