MAKANDA, Ill. (KFVS) - A user, Brian Beverly, wants to prevent the railroad company from building a tower close to the city’s Boardwalk.

The tower is proposed to be 180 feet tall and stand about 300 feet from the boardwalk.

Beverly says the tower could block the views of the total solar eclipse that will happen in 2024.
