The overdoses appeared to have been from Xanax pills that contained fentanyl, according to the Marshall County sheriff.
Several search warrants were issued over the next few days. One was at a camper on Morris Camp Highway. Stoney Hendrickson owned the camper.
Detectives seized over 20 Xanax pills suspected to have fentanyl in them. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also seized along with firearms and over $1,200 in cash. Hendrickson was charged with trafficking. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail.
