First Alert: Chance of showers, t’storms into Monday

(KFVS) - Rain chances extend into Monday.

Meteorologist Brian Alworth says overnight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms with lows 68 to 72.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, warm and humid. There will be a period or two of showers and thunderstorms, tapering off in the afternoon. It will be muggy with lows in the low 70s.

There is a good chance of showers and storms early Tuesday then turning cooler and drier by afternoon.

The fall-like temperatures will continue into the second half of the week.

Big changes: dew points/humidity will be increasing noticeably today and Monday....but will fall sharply again behind a cold front for the second half of the week.
