Media: Cardinals HOF Bob Gibson fighting pancreatic cancer

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KFVS) - Multiple media outlets in St. Louis are reporting that St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Gibson has pancreatic cancer.

It was also reported on Fox Sports Midwest and was confirmed he will soon start chemotherapy.

Gibson, 83, played for the Cardinals from 1959-75 and has won two World Series rings with the Redbirds in the 1960s.

According to reports, Cardinals Hall of Fame Pitcher Bob Gibson is being treated for Pancreatic cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to one of the greatest of all time.
