GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - On Friday, June 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m. deputies responded to KY 1748 East in Pryorsburg for a report of gunshots being fired at two juveniles.
When the deputies arrived, they talked with the two juvenile victims and their parents. The juveniles told the deputies that they were riding an ATV on Calhoun Street in Pryorsburg.
As they drove past a residence, a man fired a gunshot at them from a shotgun.
Kendall Andreason, 25, of Pryorsburg was identified as the alleged shooter.
Deputies responded to Andreason's home and were able to get him to come outside of the home unarmed. Andreason became very belligerent and threatened to kill one of the deputies present.
After trying to flee back inside the home and a brief struggle, Andreason was subdued and was arrested for wanton endangerment.
A search warrant was then served on the home and a 12-gauge shotgun was found under Andreason's bed in his bedroom. A 12-gauge shell casing was found in the front yard of the home and the same type of ammunition was found near the shotgun when it was recovered.
Andreason was booked in the Graves County Jail and he was charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, 1st degree disorderly conduct, 2nd degree menacing terroristic threatening, 3rd degree resisting arrest and illegal possession of a legend drug.
Kentucky State Police assisted with the call.
