Blues win 2-1 against Bruins in game 5 of Stanley Cup Finals

BOSTON, Mass. (KFVS) - The Blues are one win away from the Stanley Cup!

The St. Louis Blues got the win 2-1 against the Boston Bruins in game five of the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday night, June 6.

The game was scoreless after one period, but in the second period Ryan O’Reilly scored to make it 1-0 Blues.

The third period began with the Blues still leading when David Perron scored and made the score 2-0.

However, the Bruins struck back when Jake DeBrusk scored and made the score 2-1.

The Blues lead the best of seven series three games to two.

Game 6 is Sunday, June 9 at 7 p.m. CT in St. Louis.
