UNION CITY, Tenn. (KFVS) - An 18 year old was charged after a man was found shot and lying on his front porch.
Jarmarland Marsh, 18, was charged with criminal attempt to commit second-degree murder. He’s currently in the Obion County Jail.
According to police, they were dispatched around 11:36 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 to a home on East Church Street for a report of someone shot.
When they arrived, police say they found the victim, Cleven Westbrook, lying on the front porch of the home. They say he was shot on the left side of his torso.
He was taken by ambulance to an area hospital where he was later airlifted to a Nashville, Tenn. hospital for treatment.
Police say witnesses told them Marsh shot Westbrook during a fight.
