Blue Angels practice over Cape Girardeau

Sneak peek at watching Blue Angels practice

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) -It’s hard to miss the sound of the Blue Angels flying over Cape Girardeau, and some people got a sneak peak before the Regional Air Fest.

“There they go. Here they come here they come here they come,” said 10-year-old Matthew Allcock.

Excitement was in the air over the AirFest.

“And here we go. Upside down,” said Allcock describing what he saw.

Allcock and his brother Luke joined a small crowd to get an early viewing of the tricks in the air.

“Holy cow. Holy smokes. How do they do that? How do they do that,” he said.

But don’t look away for a second, because you might miss them fly by.

“I can’t even keep track of them. There they go. There they go,” said Allcock.

Kent Manley works across the interstate from the airport at Lawless Harley-Davidson and watched during his lunch hour.

“Getting to see the jets in the air and especially whenever we’re inside working, you can hear the jets and feel the building kind of shake. It’s distracting from your day, but it’s really fun,” said Manley.

“And to think we get to watch the whole thing over again on Saturday," said Allcock.
