Forbes was an OVC first team selection as the teams left offensive tackle.

This is the second straight year SEMO had a Player drafted. The Packers drafted Linebacker Kendall Donnerson last year in 7th round.

He received positive marks at his NFL pro day at Houck Stadium, and has been drawing attention from several scouts leading up to the draft.

Forbes was an FCS All-American. He was also a team captain.

Coach Tuke likes his players chances at the next level.

"I know God's got a plan for him and it will be perfect," said SEMO Head Coach Tom Matukewicz. "People are telling us it could be as high as four and as low as 6th. So Saturday is when it looks like he'll get picked up."

"Oh yeah, he's one of the best players I ever played with, he's an awesome guy off the field, I talked to him a couple of times since his training," said SEMO QB Daniel Santacanteria.

“I think he can be as good as he wants to be, he has that mentality, he’s a great teammate and person overall,” said SEMO LB Zach Hall.

Forbes is a native of Bonne Terre, Mo.
