Deputies searching for suspect in Graves County armed robbery

Armed robbery investigation in Paducah

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Deputies are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery on Sunday evening.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Department, an armed robbery was reported at 8:35 p.m. at the Stop and Go Food Mart at the intersection of Highway 58 East and Kentucky Highway 131, about 4 miles east of Mayfield.

The suspect was reported to be wearing a black hoodie with a bandanna and was believed to be armed with a handgun.

Deputies say no shots were fired and the suspect left the store on foot, heading east. They say the type of vehicle involved is unknown at this time.

Kentucky State Police was also on scene.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area on Sunday evening, they are asked to call the sheriff’s department dispatch at the KSP post at 856-3721.
