CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -Good Wednesday Evening Heartland. It was another warm and breezy afternoon. Clouds will continue to increase throughout the evening hours, and we will be watching storms move our way from the west. As of this writing it appears most of the storms will be weakening as they move in during the pre-dawn hours however, strong gusty winds could accompany the stronger storms. Temperatures will be mild overnight only falling into the lower and middle 60s.
Thursday will be cloudy with scattered showers and storms. A few storms could produce locally heavy rain. Temperatures will begin to fall after the lunch hour with late afternoon readings mostly in the 50s.
