CARLISLE COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A couple are facing drug related charges in Carlisle County, Ky. on Tuesday, April 16, after police found methamphetamine and marijuana during a response to a man waving a gun.
According to Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call a man waving a gun and screaming that people were in his attic and on his property on the 100 block of County 1219. He also threatened some neighbors with the gun.
Bardwell Police and the Carlisle County Jailer also responded to the call and found Ashley Harris, 32, in her home. She exited the home and were arrested. She said her husband, Joshua Harris, 32, probably hiding in the woods.
Joshua Harris was found at the home attempting to hide. A handgun was recovered and Harris was arrested.
Joshua Harris claimed he had video evidence of people in his home. It was pointed out to him that he lives in a mobile home and does not have an attic. Harris admitted to smoking methamphetamine since the day before.
A search of the home revealed several items of drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine and 4.5 pounds of marijuana.
Joshua and Ashley Harris were taken to the Carlisle County Jail.
Joshua Harris was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Trafficking in Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Ashley Harris was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Trafficking in Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
