PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Two juvenile students were charged in connection to threats made against a school.
According to the Paducah Police Department, over the past two weeks they have been investigating two threats to do harm to a school.
The juveniles were charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.
Police say they’re accused of threatening to do harm at Paducah Middle School. They say the first incident was a week ago and the second was on Monday, April 15.
According to police, while investigating the social media posts, they believe neither student intended to hurt anyone and no students or teachers were targeted. They say one of the students said the posting was “a joke.”
Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird said they encourage people to report anything they see or hear that concerns them.
