CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Ledarrius Brewer has announced he will be leaving Southeast Missouri State University.

Brewer was the leading scorer for SEMO last season.

According to Jeff Honza with SEMO Athletics, Brewer entered his name in the transfer portal.

He became the third player this off season to leave the program.

“I can do so much more for another program,” Brewer told Heartland Sports on Monday. He said he and his family talked it over and “felt like leaving would be the best decision for me as a player.”

The Redhawks finished with a 10 - 21 record this past season.

The next step for Brewer is unknown at this time.
