“Real Opioid Pain” is initiative that asks those who have been affected by opioids to share their story through the website, realopioidpain.com.
Missouri State Representative Holly Rehder (R-148) spoke about how opioids have affected communities in southeast Missouri.
“I’ve seen opioid addiction firsthand, and I know what the opioid crisis has done to families, neighborhoods, and communities in Southeast Missouri and across the state," said Rehder. "Addiction has been stigmatized in a way that makes it harder for people to seek treatment or come forward to share their story.
