Overturned semi slows traffic on I-24

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Traffic is back to normal in Christian County, Kentucky after a semi truck overturned

According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials, the site is cleared and all lanes are open as of 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 4.

By noon, it was blocking only one eastbound lane of Interstate 24 near the 79 mile marker. Previously, both lanes ere blocked and a detour was in place.

As of 10:40 a.m. KYTC officials said off loading the paper form the truck is moving slower than previously expected.
