SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - The Sikeston Regional Chamber of Commerce named the Southeast Correctional Center its 2019 Business of the Year.
The correctional center offers inmates a chance to work at the certified horticulture apprenticeship program at Amanzi Farms, a high-tech greenhouse in Sikeston.
Amanzi is part of the Farm to School Network, and sells a lot of their produce to local schools.
