(KFVS) - More rain and some snow is in the forecast.
A flash flood watch has been issued for all of western Kentucky as well as Mississippi and New Madrid Counties in Missouri.
This evening will be partly cloudy and cool. Lows by morning will be in the middle to upper 20s.
Tuesday starts off cloudy and dry, but by late afternoon to early evening rain and snow starts to push into the Heartland.
Northern counties will see snow and rain will be in our southern counties.
Snow accumulations will not be heavy, but this could make for slick travel after sunset.
With temperatures warming quickly Tuesday night, snow will turn rain and will likely melt any snow accumulations quickly.
Rain continues into Wednesday morning.
South of the Ohio River, rain totals could be between 1.5 to 2.5” which will cause flooding concerns.
We aren’t expected to see a lot of sun this week. More rain and even thunderstorms will enter at the end of the week heading into this weekend.
