OBION COUNTY, TN (KFVS) - A Tennessee couple were arrested after investigators said they found methamphetamine in their home with children present.
According to the Obion Co. Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Brady, 37, and Betty Brady, 36, were arrested and charged after an investigation by the sheriff’s office, the Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, the Union City Police Department and the Department of Children’s Services.
Following an investigation, a number of methamphetamine labs, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and several ingredients to promote and initiate methamphetamine were seized on Feb. 6 from the home on East Reelfoot Ave.
The children were taken to a hospital and treated.
Christopher Brady was arrested for manufacture of methamphetamine, initiation of methamphetamine manufacture Process, promotion of manufacture methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule 2, and two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect under 6-years.
Betty Brady was arrested for tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule 2, and two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect under 6 years.
The home was placed under quarantine by law.
