MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - A Murray, Kentucky man is facing multiple charges after a police investigation connected to sex, drug, and gun-related charges.
Joseph Costilow, 20, (a.k.a. Joey Amacher) was arrested on a warrant at his home on Irvan Street on Wednesday, February 6.
According to police, the investigation began after a female said that she had been sexually assaulted.
It was later found out that there was more than one victim after a search warrant was submitted through a social media site.
Through the warrant, Cosilow was charged with four counts of distributing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, five counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, and five counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
Cosilow reportedly used the name Joey Amacher to contact the victims.
Officers found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun at his home. He faces additional charges of trafficking marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.
On Sunday, Feb. 6 another warrant was served on Costilow.
That warrant charges the man with six counts of distributing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor, six counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, and six counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
Police say the investigation is currently ongoing and other possible victims have not yet been identified.
