SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) - Officials in Scott City, Missouri, are working a car fire early on Wednesday morning on January 30.

KFVS crews are on the scene. The fire is at the intersection of US 61 and Main St. in Scott City.

The response effort is impacting traffic. Drivers may need to find a different way around.

A Scott City police officer on the scene said the cause of the fire is unknown. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and is okay.

Crews are working as fast as possible to move the car during the busy morning traffic.

The officer said this is an area where traffic bottlenecks in Scott City.
