Moderate winds from the north, with gusts between 25 to 35 mph through the morning, will cause bitterly cold wind chill values in the single digits. Winds will weaken through the day, but wind chill values will still be in the teens. Clouds should clear this morning to see some sun, but another weak disturbance will increase clouds again in the afternoon. There is a chance to see some light flurries/snow in our northern counties this afternoon. There could be minor, but small, accumulations. Road conditions are not favorable this morning for driving.
We will hold onto the cooler temps starting off on Monday, but we are tracking a wintry system on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. We will have another shot of cool arctic air moving in by next weekend.
