CARLISLE COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A Kentucky man is facing charges after a pursuit by law enforcement in Carlisle County where afterwards deputies said they found spice drugs.
According to the sheriff’s office, Kenneth W. Williams, 47, of Bardwell, Ky. faces charges of fleeing/evading police and tampering with physical evidence, possession of a synthetic drug and possession of drug and possession of drug related items and operating a vehicle under the influence.
On January 16 around 3:30, E911 received a report of a car at the intersection of Route 121 and Route 307.
It was reported he was passed out.
When a deputy arrived, the car wasn’t there.
Another call came in to E911 20 minutes later with a car matching the same description, with the driver passed out on Route 80 East and US 51.
A deputy found the car at Luke’s Truck Stop and tried to make a traffic stop, but the driver took off in the car on US 51.
The driver was seen reportedly throwing synthetic drugs out of the car.
The car was eventually boxed in by deputies and stopped.
A search of the vehicle turned up 13 grams of synthetic drugs (spice).
Partially smoked synthetic cigarettes were also found, according to the sheriff’s office.
