Man wanted for walking away from Paducah halfway house, arrested for robbery
28-year-old Kennedy L. Hale, of Louisville, was arrested by Metropolis authorities on a charge of absconding and Paducah Police Department warrant charging with second-degree robbery.

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Authorities have arrested a man for robbing a Paducah convenience store robbery on Saturday, Jan. 12.

An employee told police the man walked into the business just after 1:30 a.m. and mumbled, “Give me all the money,” several times.

The man then gave her a note demanding money.

28-year-old Kennedy L. Hale, of Louisville, was arrested by Metropolis authorities on a charge of absconding and Paducah Police Department warrant charging with second-degree robbery.

The investigation led Paducah police detectives to Hale, who was staying with a friend in Metropolis.

He was interviewed and admitted robbing the convenience store.

Hale was sent to Keeton Correctional Facility’s halfway house in Paducah on Nov. 13, 2018, serving time in prison on a 2014 robbery conviction in Jefferson County, IL. He walked away from the facility on Dec. 6, 2018.
