JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - City officials in Jackson, Missouri say a water main break has caused a water interruption.
Water Distribution crews restored water service to all affected customers by noon on Friday and sent the water quality tests to the laboratory this afternoon. The results of those tests should be available by mid-afternoon on Saturday.
Until then, the precautionary boil water advisory will stay in effect for these areas:
• All addresses located on North Donna Drive between East Jackson Boulevard and Old Cape Road
• All addresses located on Otto Drive between North Donna Drive and Old Cape Road.
• Other addresses located within this area may be affected as well.
Officials said the break happened in the morning on Jan. 4 at the intersection of Otto Drive and Old Cape Rd.
A boil water advisory has been issued for the same location according to officials. The advisory is issued strictly as a precaution and is most commonly issued for water line breaks.
