FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Police say a California man involved in a deadly crash on Interstate 55 in Franklin County was high on marijuana at the time of the crash.
Dennis Hernandez, 34, was driving a truck when he apparently veered into the oncoming lanes, hitting another pickup truck head on, according to police.
Two SIU students were killed in the September 26th crash.
Court papers show Hernandez did not have a valid driver's liscense.
Hernandez will be in court later this month to face driving under the influence charges.
