MALDEN, MO (KFVS) - Malden Elementary kindergardeners get a little messy for science!
AmeriCorps volunteers paired up with the Bootheel Youth Museum and help bring science to life. These volunteers are college students hoping to one day become teachers....so, it truly is students helping students.
This week the kindergardeners got to make their own slime! Not only did they learn exactly how to make it themselves, they also learned the science behind it.
Thanks to the volunteers, the kids know everything from how to make a hypothesis to the difference between a liquid and a solid.
The adults and the kids had a slime of a good time and that is why both groups of students are making the grade.
