Man accused of stealing $31,000 from Wal-Mart

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Paducah police arrested a Wal-Mart employee for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars right out of the registers.

Police say 27-year-old Nickey Dunaway of Barlow, admitted to stealing more than $31,000 from Wal-Mart.
According to police, Dunaway used the computerized registers to transfer more than $31,000 in refunds to a prepaid credit card.
Police call it a complicated scheme.  Wal-Mart loss prevention officers noticed an excessive amount of returns on Dunaway's register and kept an eye on him.
He's was taken to the McCracken County Jail on charges of unlawful access to a computer.
