Cape Girardeau, MO (KFVS) -- Some people here in the heartland are still living without power.
According to the Communications Director for SEMO Electric Cooperative, Glen Cantrell, the company still has just under 700 customers without power.
The Folks at Ozark Border say they have about 928 customers still without electricity. Heartland News was originally told the company had no outages "to their knowledge" but that was not correct. The company says it is making strides but still has about 928 customers in the dark.
As of Tuesday afternoon about 6,000 Dunklin-Pemiscot Electric Co-op customers still didn't have power.
