Jackson man arrested on drug charges

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - A Jackson man faces drug charges after police seized 17 marijuana plants from a home on Hwy. 34 outside of Jackson Thursday.

Tommy Sticht, 43, faces Class B Felony Distribution/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance, Class C Felony Possession of Marijuana except less than 35 grams, and Class A Misdemeanor Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia charges.
Police say the marijuana plants ranged in size of a few inches to 6 feet tall.  Police say they also found three ounces of processed marijuana.
Sticht's bond is set a $75,000.  He was taken to the Cape Girardeau County Justice Center.
The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, Missouri Highway Patrol and the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force helped in the investigation.
