Murray State University reopens resident halls.

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) - An update from Murray State University, as of now all university resident halls reopened.  Resident students who are located locally can go ahead and move back in  now. The university is requesting that students located out of town wait until noon Sunday to reenter the residence halls.

Winslow Dining Hall will continue to serve students and community on its special schedule through Saturday, Jan. 31st.

Beginning Sunday Winslow will end community feeding program and go back to its regular schedule for Murray State students and staff.

For Sunday, that schedule will include brunch and dinner as normal.

The university will reopen on Monday morning, February 2. Some university services may still be limited, however.  Classes will begin again Monday morning.

Employees and students are encouraged to bring their own water while the boil water advisory is in effect.
