Humane Society of Missouri send disaster response team to assist after ice storm

NEW MADRID, MO (KFVS) - The Humane Society of Missouri sent a disaster response team to the Bootheel to help animals and their owners during the ice storm.
The six person crew will be set up in New Madrid near the Dollar General off of US 61 with their mobile shelter unit.
They will assist with delivering water to livestock and tending to animals in New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Butler counties.
They ask for pet supply donations, especially blankets and towels.
