Arrest made in Paducah bank robbery

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Paducah police arrest two men in connection with the robbery Wednesday at US Bank in Paducah.
Police responded to US Bank at 2174 Bridge St. Wednesay afternoon after a suspect came into the bank, showed a handgun and ordered employees on the floor.
Police say the man then ordered employees to put money into a bag and fled the bank on foot.
Moments later witnesses noticed a tan minivan pulling away from the area.
Police arrested Howard and his father Leslie Hawkins less than a mile from the bank that was robbed.
Howard Hawkins faces charges of first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
Leslie Hawkins faces charges of complicity to commit robbery in the first degree.
