Cape Girardeau County, MO - The Missouri Highway Patrol shut down part of Hwy. 25 Monday night after a series of car crashes. This morning, the highway is open but bridges are still expected to be icy.
The wrecks happened around 10:30 Monday night on a stretch of Hwy. 25 between Gordonville and Dutchtown. The main concern was icy conditions on the diversion channel bridge.
Troopers tell Heartland News reports of a wreck involving 3 to 4 cars prompted them to close the bridge.
