YourTurn - 12/15/08

Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.

Debbie Porter from Galatia, Illinois:
"I hope the Illinois voters can finally know they cannot elect a Governor from Northern Illinois!  Chicago has been corrupt for a century!  Maybe now we can elect a downstate governor.'

Bonnie McClanahan from DuQuoin, Illinois:
"I don't think schools do enough.  When I was in school I used to be singled out for being Pagan.  Other students would tease me and say that I was evil....they told me I could not wear my religious symbol...because it was a Christian school.  I said I would quit wearing it if everyone else would quit wearing crosses.  It affected my grades and made me fail most of my classes.  All I wanted was to be treated like the rest of the students."

Peggy Connell from Campbell, Missouri:
"I suggest that the big oil companies that raised our gas prices bail out the auto manufacturers since they are the ones that have hurt us all!"

Vicki Reed from Simpson, Illinois:
"I have never much cared for Mike Smythe or his ViewPoints on KFVS12.  However, if he would send me (a) KFVS12 limited edition Breakfast Show coffee mug my opinion of him might change."
