Candidate Withdraws from SEMO Athletic Director Search

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - A candidate for the athletic director position at Southeast Missouri State University has withdrawn from the search.
Timothy Hall is the director of athletics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
According to the university, Hall indicated to Bill Carr of Carr Sports Associates that it was a personal decision made with his family. 

The open forum scheduled with Hall on Thursday, Dec. 11 has been cancelled.

John Shafer, former director of athletics at Eastern Kentucky University, another finalist for the athletic director position at Southeast, is on campus Wednesday. The community is invited to an open forum with Shafer from 4-4:45 p.m. in the University Center Party Room.
The other finalist, Michael Waddell, senior associate director of athletics at the University of Cincinnati, is scheduled to visit the campus on Friday, Dec. 12. The community is invited to an open forum to meet Waddell from 2:30-3:15 p.m. Dec. 12 in the University Center Program Lounge.
