Total Time: 50 min
2 lbs. fresh greenbeans, cut to bite size pieces, steam for about 20. min
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
3 tbsp. flour
16 oz. sour cream
12 oz. pkg. shredded monterey jack cheese
buttered breadcrumbs (optional)
1. Set oven to 350 degrees. Melt margarine, add onion, cook 2-3 min.
2. Add flour, cook 2-3 min. Toss with beans in 9 by 13 casserole dish.
3. Mix sour cream and cheese in beans. Top with breadcrumbs.
4. Bake for about 20-25 min, until cheese is melted and breadcrumbs are browned.
Yield: 8-10 servings
