Drug Roundup Nets 13 Arrests

MURRAY, Ky. - Kentucky State Police arrested 13 people after a drug round-up Thursday.

Police conducted a two-month long investigation by visiting pharmies in the area and inspecting pseudoephedrine purchase logs.  Those arrested were charged for purchasing more than 9 grams of drug products commonly used to make methamphetamine.

According to the Kentucky State Police, those arrested include:

1. Dustin M. Kirby, 24 of Benton-1 count of Unlawful Possession of a Methamphetamine Precursor. Kirby-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

2. Nathan L. Henson, 19 of Hardin-5 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

3. David McCoy, 33 of Hardin-2 counts- Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Oxycodone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree-Ativan-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

4. Rebecca Stocklen, 26 of Murray-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

5. Terry Stroup, 35 of Benton-Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree-Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

6. Angela Clark, 26 of Hardin-4 counts-Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Prescription Drug not in Proper Container-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

7. Tamara Abell, 25 of Benton-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

8. Jared Adams, 25 of Sedalia-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in the Graves County Jail.

9. Garret Cedar, 29 of Benton-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.

10. Gary Williams, 31 of Vienna, IL.-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in Massac County, IL awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

11. Mandy Hancock, 32 or Vienna, IL.-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in Massac County, IL awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

12. Lisa Harris, 43 of New Burnside, IL.-1 count of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in Massac County, IL awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

13. Danny Trotter, 32 of Paris, TN.-2 counts of Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor-lodged in Henry County, TN awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

    A two-vehicle crash sent two to the hospital on Aug. 18. According to ISP, Paul Price, 46, was driving on I-24 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed the median eventually hitting a semi truck driven by Courtney Baxter, 43.
