One Injured, Two Arrested After Shots Fired

SIKESTON, Mo. - Two men face several charges stemming from a shooting Monday night.
Eric Johnson, 18, and Mark Williamson, 19, both of Sikeston face a Class A charge of first degree assault, two counts of Class C felony assault first degree, three counts of armed criminal action, one count of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of property damage first degree charges.
Both men are in custody in lieu of $100,000 cash only bond.
Josh Jones, 22, of Sikeston was shot in the right shoulder and is in stable condition at a local hospital.
According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, an ongoing fued erupted into a fight at the Sikeston High School volleyball game Monday night.  One group fired at another around 10 p.m. near the intersection of School Street and Dorothy. 
Investigators collected evidence and arrested two people about 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The weapon has been recovered.  Police say they expect more arrests.  Stay with Heartland News for more information.
