Perfect Pitch

Perfect Pitch

You've probably know someone who can play piano by ear.
You probably haven't met Reggie May.  He's a man who could win big on the old game show "Name that Tune."
"Having perfect pitch is helpful.  I can learn music faster, because I can really hear the melody," explained May.
He first found out about the musical gift when he was in elementary school.
"The music teachers was playing piano, and I told her that thing needs tuning," May said.
Bandmate and keyboard player Dan Bell plays a note.  "D!"  answered May.
Of course he was right.
Researchers estimate only about 1 in 10,000 people have the perfect pitch ability.
