CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - This Saturday, Sept. 22nd, Extreme Cage Fighting comes to the Heartland.
"Devastation Fight Night" promises 17 fighting matches where the audience can view cage-side.
Promoter Paul Farwig says the audience is sure to enjoy the lights, smoke and of course, the controlled fighting.  There will also be big-screen TV's so those not sitting right next to the cages can see all the fighting moves.
Extreme Fighting involves trained athletes using various mixed Martial Arts moves to battle their way through matches and attempt to win fighting belts.  It's controlled with several regulations and rules, says Farwig.
If you'd like ticket information, call the A.C. Brase Arena Building where the event will be held: (573) 335-5421.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.  The fighting begins at 8 p.m. this Saturday night in Cape Girardeau.
Nine-time World Welterweight UFC Champion Matt Hughes will also make an appearance during the matches.
